Scott Mittelsteadt
Scott is based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has 15 years of marine experience mainly in sail. Scott is an avid racer and has been competing in offshore racing since 1995. His racing experience includes the Chicago Mac Race (10), the Port Huron Mac Race (2), the 100 Miler (3), The Queens Cup (12), The J35 North Americans (2), the Chicago NOODs (3), the J35 Great Lakes Championships (4) along with an extensive list of Regattas & deliveries on sailboats from J24’s to Farr 50’s.
Scott currently holds a 50 ton USCG Masters License. He has put his Captains license to use by chartering sailboats for groups out of the Milwaukee area.
On land Scott holds an Associates Degree in Architecture and owns his owns design business, Horizon Design, LLC. Horizon Design specializes in Residential, Commercial and Marine Design.
